Alongside Families exists to connect isolated families to local church communities that champion family preservation and thriving.
During hard times - like a single mom facing a job loss or an unexpected medical emergency - many people rely on relatives and friends for support. But for some parents in our community struggling with social isolation, this is not an option.
A proven church-led, volunteer-driven, professionally-supported model that provides a dignifying way for parents to ask for and get help before abuse or neglect ever occurs.
We provide temporary care for children and supportive relationships for parents to prevent families from being torn apart. We offer safe, loving homes with volunteer Host Families and wraparound care from Community Friends in partner churches.
