Will your family open your home to a child in need?

This Make Room Zoom event is created for you to learn what it's like to serve as an Alongside Families Host Family. Join us for a no-pressure time of stories, opportunity, and vision for every lonely family in our city to find family through the Body of Christ.

You'll hear from current Host Families as they share how this ministry has impacted their families as they are on-mission for Jesus in their own homes, practicing gospel-centered family preservation.

Right now, somewhere in our city, a child is at risk of entering the foster care system simply because their parent is facing a life crisis without support.

It doesn’t have to be this way if families like yours will open their homes. You can impact a family forever by taking in a child for a few days, weeks, or months.

Host Family volunteers temporarily care for children while a parent facing hospitalization, homelessness, or other challenging times gets back on their feet. We become a village for our neighbors in need by making our family their family.

Host Families serve under their church's Alongside Families ministry. If your church is not yet a Partner Church with Alongside Families, we would love to connect with you! We are eager for more gospel-centered churches to partner with us to be the hands and feet of Christ to our neighbors in need in both greater Charlotte and greater Asheville areas!
