Alongside Families is a pro-church ministry. We believe that the local church is best equipped to lead in family preservation. We offer a model, pathway, and professional support to empower local, gospel-centered churches to serve vulnerable families through biblical hospitality.
We partner with churches in the Greater Charlotte, NC and Greater Asheville, NC areas.
Serving as a Lead Partner Church is a life-changing ministry opportunity for families and individuals in your church. We unleash your church members to be on-mission in their own homes, building transformational relationships with struggling families and keeping kids out of the foster care system through temporary child hosting.

Identify 2-3 lay leaders who will recruit, coordinate, and support the Alongside ministry at your church.
Announce and invite others in your church to an info meeting at your church, led by Alongside staff.
Your church can host one of our in-person trainings for those in your church who are interested in fulfilling a volunteer role.
Regularly undergird this ministry through financial support, hosting events, providing care packages, and other needs that Alongside Families has.
